Department of Economics and Resource Management
The Department of Economics and Resource Management presents an integrated look at matters of policy and economic development. The Department applies time-tested avenues of achieving a number of academic and research objectives. The Department is responsible for the teaching of economics and development studies, with development studies understood in the broadest sense as typically handled in economics programmes. One of the fast growing areas in the study of economics is the spatial distribution of economic activities, whereby the question of space is brought to bare on economic decisions. This Department offers degrees in: Economics; Natural Resource Management as well as Master’s Degrees in the same areas.
